Fostering Growth Through Youth Theatre & Performing Arts

Welcome to California Arts and Beyond - CAAB

Our mission is to provide creative and integrative arts education and resources with the purpose of fostering social, emotional, physical, and personal growth and development to all communities, especially to those who would not otherwise have access to the arts.

Help Us Reach Our Goals

Every dollar brings us closer to our vision of equitable access to the performing arts for all young people.
You can make a difference. Here are a few of our fundraising goals:

Interior view of a black box theatre featuring a minimalist stage, black curtains on all sides, ceiling-mounted lighting equipment, and rows of black chairs facing the stage. A projection screen is centered at the back of the stage.

BUILD OUR OWN BLACKBOX THEATRE

GOAL $100,000

Renting venues adds significant cost to every production. Help us create a permanent, flexible blackbox theatre space where young artists can perform, rehearse, and create —without the financial burden of rental fees.

Street view of Broadway in New York City, showcasing bright neon signs, large theatre marquees, and bustling crowds. Iconic advertisements for popular Broadway shows light up the buildings in Times Square at night.

TAKE KIDS TO BROADWAY & BEYOND

GOAL $25,000 Anually

Many of our students have never experienced professional theatre. Your support allows us to bring them to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows— providing inspiration, cultural enrichment, and unforgettable memories.

PROVIDE ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS

GOAL $15,000 Annually

We believe every child deserves a chance to shine. Our scholarship fund covers tuition for theatre productions, music lessons, and more—ensuring access for students regardless of financial background.

MICROPHONE & SOUND EQUIPMENT UPGRADE

GOAL $3,000

Renting venues adds significant cost to every production. Help us create a permanent, flexible blackbox theatre space where young artists can perform, rehearse, and create —without the financial burden of rental fees.

COSTUME & PROP CLOSET REFRESH

GOAL $2,500

We already have a large and diverse collection of costumes and props—but we need your help to organize, repair, and update it. Your support will ensure students have easy access to high-quality materials for every production.

SCRIPT & SCORE LICENSING FUND

GOAL $1,500

Cover the licensing fees for youth-appropriate scripts and music scores so we can continue offering high-quality shows legally and ethically—without passing the cost on to families.
